NUKUS is a fast-growing Dutch women's fashion brand with over 400 points of sale at home and abroad. From our headquarters in Rotterdam, we develop several collections per year, with quality, fit, and appearance at the core.

To expand our team, we are looking for an accurate and driven Product Developer. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for the technical development of our collections and ensure that every garment meets the quality standards that NUKUS stands for.

What will you do?

As a Product Developer, you will guide the development process of our collections from sample to production. You are the link between design, buying, and suppliers, ensuring that every product is developed perfectly.

Your tasks include:

Assessing and checking proto, salesman, and production samples.
Measuring and checking the fit during fittings.
Attending and preparing for fittings and processing all fit comments.
Checking size specifications and technical details.
Assessing fabrics, qualities, washes, and trims.
Identifying and monitoring product quality throughout the entire development process.
Drafting and processing technical comments for suppliers.
Maintaining intensive contact with international suppliers regarding product development.
Collaborating with the Design, Buying, and Production departments.
Monitoring the planning and ensuring collections are production-ready on time.

Who are you?

You have a passion for fashion and a sharp eye for detail. You are critical regarding quality, think in solutions, and know exactly what a good garment should meet.

In addition, you possess:

HBO (higher professional) education level, preferably in Fashion, AMFI, TMO, or a comparable program.
At least 2 years of experience as a Product Developer, Garment Technician, or in a similar role.
Knowledge of fit, construction, fabrics, and finishing.
Experience with conducting fittings and processing technical feedback.
Good command of the Dutch and English language.
Good communication skills and a proactive work attitude.
You are accurate, independent, and maintain an overview, even when multiple collections are running simultaneously.
